Can I use Microsoft Excel macros in Quattro Pro?
Answer
No, you can’t use Microsoft Excel macros in Quattro Pro.
Microsoft Excel and Quattro Pro have similarities, but they are proprietary applications that are built using different architectures. This makes it difficult to convert all of the elements found in a Microsoft Excel document to Quattro Pro, including macros. Therefore, you can’t run a macro created in Microsoft Excel in Quattro Pro.
Quattro Pro can, however, open Microsoft Excel files that contain macros, but the macro displays as an error in the notebook.
